Miroslav Škoro, someone who can sell out even the greatest halls in Croatia without difficulty, will have the opportunity to draw crowds to the Summer Stage in Opatija.
He started his career in 1985 with the tamburitza orchestra "Slavonski Bećari" and already at that point, Miroslav Škoro’s destiny could have been anticipated, including the songs he would sing and write. During his studies in America, he met Jerry Grcevich, who encouraged him towards his true love – writing lyrics according to the cult Slavonian music.
After his return to Croatia, he founded the tamburitza band "Ravnice" and became one of the greatest Slavonian composers. He has recorded nine albums to date, including famous hits such as “Ne dirajte mi ravnicu”, “Šumi, šumi javore”,”„Milo moje” and many others.
City of Opatija has arranged free public transport - buses
1. V. Car Emin Street closes to all traffic (from the joint with M. Tito St.) from 16.00 to 2.00 AM the next day
2. Suburban public transport "Autotrolej" on line 32 will operate from 19.00 on Nova Cesta St.. (Kostabela-Kuk-Nova Cesta-Slatina-Ika-Icici Lovran). Buses will drive on Nova Cesta with additional traffic signals.
